Travel Information: Airport Pickup/Return -Schedule

Mount Pleasant is located at the center of the lower peninsula of Michigan. It is the home of Central Michigan University. There are limited local transportation available from/to two airports. Both airports have rental car booth service and taxi service. In order to accommodate your travel, we will arrange airport pick/return shuttle from/to both airports starting on October 9, 2013 to October 14, 2013.

If you need the airport pickup, please make sure you submit your flight itinerary and choose the airport pickup/return schedule.

Two nearby airports are

• MBS (Midland/Bay City/Saginaw) International Airport: This airport is about 50 miles from the conference hotel. The information about this airport (including airlines, ground transportation and others) can be found at  http://www.mbsairport.org/

• LAN (Lansing) International Airport. This airport is about 70 miles from the conference hotel. The information about the airport is at http://www.flylansing.com/

Detroit Airport is about two and half hours driving to the conference hotel. Grand Rapids Airport is about two hours driving to the conference hotel. If your fly to Grand Rapids Airport, you need to make a reservation of a car rental, and pick up your rental car at the airport. When you arrange your flight itinerary:

• For arrival flight: It is recommended that you should try to find the flight having arrival time near the pickup time.
• For returning flight: Be aware that it takes about 50 minutes from the conference hotel to MBS airport and about 75 minutes to LAN airport.

It is recommended that you take the return shuttle at least two and half hours prior to your flight departure time.
