Welcome to the WaTTeR Research Lab, led by Dr. Itzel Márquez, Chemical Engineering, PhD.
Our research focuses on understanding physical and chemical mechanisms and processes to advance wastewater reuse. Our current projects are:
- Photodegradation of Trace Organic Compounds in the environment
- Advanced Oxidation Processes for the removal of Trace Organic Compounds
- Membrane processes for wastewater purification
- Adsorption processes for the removal of Trace Organic Compounds.
