This page presents some of the senior design projects that were advised by Dr. Karadogan and is not a comprehensive list.
Motorized Target System v1 - MTS I (2017)
This is the first version of the remote-controlled mobile shooting target system we developed for CMU's Police Department. An improved version was also developed as part of another senior design project.
Motorized Target System v2 - MTS II (2017)
This is the second version of the remote-controlled mobile shooting target system that we developed for CMU's Police Department. This version added improvements such as increased mobility in various terrains (improved suspension and traction) and more efficient battery charging.
Spherical Robot with Payload Actuation (2018)
This is the working protptype of a spherical robot that propels itself by means of its own payload and changing the center of mass.

Functional Prototype Design with Additive Manufacturing Techniques (2022)
Our students built the high-fidelity functioning version of a crimping press using additive manufacturing by utilizing only 2D drawings of the machine parts. The portability of the final prototype enabled the manufacturing company showcase their machine in product demos around the country.
Shaker Table Design (2022)
A shaker table that was designed by our students for earthquake simulations.
