One-Vacancy Problems

e1-vacancy to e1, b4, h4, e5:

Take the first 10 jumps of the solution to the "e1-complement going through Moon-over-the-Mesa": c3-e1, g3-c3, i5-g3, c5-e3, g5-c5, a5-e5, f2-h4, e5-g3, b4-d2, h4-f2. This leaves you with the Diamond, and from there it is easy to get down to one peg at e1, b4, h4, or e5.

A second approach is to take c3-e1, g3-c3, b4-d2, i5-g3, f2-h4, e5-g3, h4-f2, a5-e5, g5-c5, c5-e3. These 10 jumps come from another solution of the e1-complement.

Take either of the solutions to the previous problem. Replace the first jump (c3-e1) with b4-d2. All of the other jumps are the same.
