The Vee Problem

Consider the following simple problem: Start with pegs in e3, d4, f4, c5, and g5. End with one peg in e3.

This is easy to do; the following picture shows all of the steps.

The sequence of jumps is f4-d2, c5-e3, d2-f4, g5-e3.
